WAYNE NEWTON

Wayne Newton is known in the entertainment industry as The Midnight Idol and Mr. Entertainment. He was also dubbed as Mr. Las Vegas for his popularity in Nevada as a performer. Not to mention, the star made chart-topping songs in the ‘60s, such as Daddy Don’t You Walk So Fast.

In 2019, Newton had to call off his scheduled performances in Arizona when he experienced a spine injury. His doctor advised him to go off stage for a while and focus on his rehabilitation. It was a good thing that Newtown was able to secure medical insurance. As a result of this health condition, Newton was able to shed off 170 pounds. The pain from Newton’s injury also led him to have a lower knack for eating, which made his weight drop. This was also the performer’s lightest weight in his adult life, making him even younger.
