Randy Jackson

Randy Jackson is a singer, producer, entrepreneur, and TV personality who is known as a judge on American Idol for over 12 seasons. He started performing during the 1980s as a bass guitarist, which eventually led him to be discovered.

After a visit to his doctor led to the discovery of his high degree of blood sugar, Jackson was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in 2003. Fans were also quick to see the musician’s change in weight. Jackson was scared of the idea of losing his health. He was pushed to make a lifestyle change and underwent a 100-pound weight loss journey, which he successfully finished. During the ordeal, Jackson admitted that he suffered from emotional eating. In his house, he ditched sausages, chips, and cheese and is now filled with fruits and vegetables, which helped tremendously in his weight loss journey.
