Willie Mays

It may be hard now for Willie Mays to hit a baseball with his bat at the age of 89, but back in his prime, he led his team with 660 home runs, 338 stolen bases, and 3,283 hits with a batting average of .302. The former professional baseball center fielder is regarded as one of the greatest baseball players of all time. In fact, in 1979, he was already elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility.

His successful career as a baseball player has earned him awards and recognition in his field. On top of these accolades were the titles he won. In his speech, the all-time athlete shared how he has achieved such great success in the field, and it was all because of his one word: love. Guess we don’t have to look that far to be successful as Willie Mays has been all along. As it turns out, the secret to prosperity is loving what we do.
