Robert Morse

Actor Robert Morse would still choose to act given he still could at his age. His latest work was just back in 2019 when he landed a voice credit as Sta. Claus in the direct-to-video animated superhero film Teen Titans Go! Vs. Teen Titans. He also last appeared on the TV comedy Corporate as Terry Sales. In our opinion, though, the actor’s best work so far was on his award-winning role in both the original Broadway production in 1961 and the 1967 movie adaptation of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.

Playing Truman Capote in the 1989 one-man play, Tru, he earned him his second Tony Award, which won him a Primetime Emmy Award as well for the outstanding performance of his reprised role in American Playhouse. His credited role as Bertram Cooper in the AMC dramatic series Mad Men was also critically acclaimed. It seems like this trailblazer actor is far from wanting retirement, given his busy work life.
