James Earl Jones
James Earl Jones’ acting career spanned seven decades in the industry. His performance as an actor has been described as America’s most distinguished and versatile, whether in theater, film, or TV. Undoubtedly, Jones is considered one of the greatest actors in American history. All in all, his performance garnered three Tony Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, Grammy Awards, and received a Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award, as well as an Honorary Academy Award.
He also received a Doctor of Arts degree from Harvard University. Later on, the veteran actor made his screen debut in 1964, Dr. Strangelove, and soon he again started to amass accolades in films such as in his performance in the film adaptation of The Great White Hope. While his 1974 romantic comedy-drama Claudine received acclaims and nominations in Academy Award and Golden Globe. Jones also became well known for his voice acting skills.
