William Shatner
William Shatner is not just an actor. He has become a cultural icon for playing the role of Captain James T. Kirk of the USS Enterprise in the Star Trek franchise. From this title alone, he has about 15 acting credits, starting from the original Star Trek: The Original Series (1966-1969) to his latest Star Trek: Tactical Assault, a video game to which he lent his voice. The now-89-year-old star didn’t let his acting career end with the franchise, successfully avoiding being typecast.
He went on to do a bunch of TV and movie projects from the day he started his acting career until today. In fact, there’s no year that Shatner has no movie or TV show to do. Despite his advancing age, he still has completed three new projects: a narration of the short William Shatner War Chronicles German, the TV series Ben, and the movie Senior Moment.
