Nehemiah Persoff
This American Israeli actor has a career spanning over five impressive decades. As another centenarian on the list, he was born on August 2, 1919. He has appeared in more than 200 TV shows, movies, and stage productions during his heydays. He rose to stardom for his portrayal of the gangster boss Little Bonaparte in the classic film Some Like It Hot, directed by the great Billy Wilder. He also appeared in supporting roles in films such as The Greatest Story Ever Told and The Comancheros.
His last movie was the 1999 film 4 Faces. Although he has already retired from the industry, he is still quite active in his painting career. We’re sure that he’s doing great in his newfound hobby as he’s a very creative person with several investments. We know that he’s enjoying his retirement because he’s still doing what he loves to do.
