Jimmy Carter

Jimmy Carter is a former American president who served as the commander in chief of the powerful nation from 1977 to 1981. As the president, he was known for establishing the Department of Energy and the Department of Education. He formed a national energy policy that included conservation, price control, and new technology. However, his presidency also got punctuated by a couple of crises. Some of which include the 1979–1981 Iran hostage crisis and the 1979 energy crisis.

He wasn’t a very popular president, as most historians consider him to a below-average president. However, since leaving the presidency, Carter has been viewed more favorably by the public. Today, at 96 years old, he devotes his time supporting various charitable causes. Indeed, we think that’s a great way to enjoy your retirement and investments. It only goes to show that he’s a true American patriot, for he genuinely loves his nation.
